I feel alright only if you feel alright I´ll be forever on your side If you lose, there´s no way I can win I´ll do my very best to help you I want you to know I´m with you And we´ll walk down the road To get to go where we´re going You know I´ll pick you up on your way down Somehow I´ll learn to make you stand up I will be watching closely when you grow I´ll understand when I look at you I want you to know I´m with you And we´ll walk down the road To get to go where we´re going There are many of us Together we will stand I will not leave you and you´ll be there too.
“Supporting one another”
Comradeship refers to the link among several people who share lifestyles and it is useful to help and back each other in each and every action, making the achievement of common goals something more simple. It can have a great range according to the number of people involved. Plenty of times, it applies to reduced groups in which the people have similar hobbies and carry out joint ventures in search of a common goal. This can also be applied in a broader sense since we all are born to try and live and let live as long as possible, which might mean that we are partners in a life in which we share the world as a stage or battlefield where rivalry must never be harmful. You can´t always get what you want. Such occurrence must make us grow up and understand that when we lose, others do win. And they are companions, as well as opponents. It follows that the best option is to try and understand the situation as soon as possible, learn from our adversaries in order to get better and be happy because they have achieved their goal, as long as they have done so in good faith. Many a value positively influences camaraderie, namely generosity, solidarity, humility, tolerance, availability, honesty, responsibility, equality, gratitude, respect and a host of others. A partner is one who cares for others, instilling trust and becoming a reference point where one can go for comfort as well as a purveyor of happiness.
