Loyalty implies willingness and pleasure to be happy. Anybody capable enough to decide and feel can develop this principle, which can be applied to any element with which we have any kind of a connection. It is a voluntary commitment, assumed through sentimental, professional, social or ideological bonds. These feelings supply us with power and durability for any kind of relationship. It places us in a permanent, almost unconditional state of support, one on which we rely and one available should any contingency prop up. Facts and other people speak for us and they provide us with certain security and reliability. Loyalty is not such if it is only meant for superficial personal interest, which is an evidence of a fragile, transient link. Time will tell about the purity of said link by affording plenty of opportunities to prove this value.
